

NMA Benue Chairman bags West African Health Organization award

Mr Ushakuma Anenga,Benue Nigeria Medical Association Chairman has bagged the Prize for the best Scientific Paper presented by trainees during the 63rd West African College of Surgeons (WACS) conference in Lome, Togo.
In a short message in Thursday, he said:
“friends, my research on “Prevalence and risk factors for anemia among pregnant women attending antenatal clinic at Benue State University Teaching Hospital. North-central Nigeria” was awarded the West African Health Organisation (WAHO) Prize for the best Scientific Paper presented by trainees during the 63rd West African College of Surgeons (WACS) conference in Lome, Togo.
According to him this is my first medical award, and I feel so happy and honoured to receive such commendation from the greats of our profession in the West African sub-region.
He dedicated the award to him family ad associates.
