The Executive Secretary Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission, NCPC Rev Dr Yakubu Pam has tasked over 100 intending pilgrims of FCT participating in the 2023 Easter pilgrimage completion exercise to abide by the rules of engagement.
The Executive Secretary made this disclosure on Tuesday, the 19th of September, 2023 during the pre orientation programme organized for the intending pilgrims of FCT, held at the FCT Pilgrims Welfare Board, Wuse, Abuja .
Rev Pam who was represented by the Deputy Director and Head of Mobilization department of NCPC, Mr Sunny Udeh outlined the prerequisites needed for a successful Pilgrimage exercise by the intending pilgrims of FCT.
In her remarks, the Acting Director, FCT Pilgrims Welfare Board, Mrs Rahila Baita affirmed that all the necessary arrangements had been put in place to ensure a successful Pilgrimage outing by the intending pilgrims of FCT in the Easter pilgrimage completion exercise.
She hinted that over 130 intending pilgrims of FCT had been mobilized to participate in the Pilgrimage exercise.
The Acting Director further urged the intending pilgrims to shun any negative tendencies while in the Holy land.
Also speaking, the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN North Central, Rev Jonah Samson, enjoined all the intending pilgrims of FCT to be Christ Ambassadors while in the Holy land and should pray for the peace and prosperity of the country.
About 1000 intending pilgrims would be participating in the NCPC 2023 Easter pilgrimage completion exercise.
