Don’t be distracted by current challenges, cleric advises Nigerians

Founder and President of Moore Life Ministries, Keith Moore, has called on Nigerians to put their trust in God, in spite of the economic hardship and other challenges currently bedeviling the nation.
The cleric gave the advice on Saturday at the on-going Impartation Conference with the theme “Triumphant”, organised by the Summit Bible Church, Abuja.
Moore, who is also the Founder of Faith Life Church Sarasota, Florida, called on Christians to be firm in serving God, adding that such move would make them better persons.
“The mind is a battle field; out of it flows issues of life. We fail as Christians when we are distracted from the goal.
“We cannot allow ourselves to be distracted by the challenges of the economy, sicknesses, diseases and lack of finances; fight the good battle by enforcing the Word of God over negative feelings and thoughts.
“Refuse to entertain negative images of defeat, sickness or lack and don’t focus on worthless things but trust God.
“You will not see your miracle while meditating on your problems,” Moore said.
The founder also said that one major way to grow in spiritual maturity was to focus and concentrate on God’s everlasting word.
“Acknowledge God in everything and receive direction from Him for every decision. For every in decision, you need the witness of the Spirit.
“Christians ought to speak words of faith over challenges and not give up because at the appropriate time God will answer our prayers.
“Renew your mind because our time on earth is short, so it is important that we spend our time following God by obeying His command.
“We have an opportunity to trust God because He will always be with us,” he said.
Moore further called on Nigerians shun evil and embrace things that would unite and promote peaceful coexistence in the society.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that church programme also featured special song ministration by renown gospel artiste, Nathaniel Bassey.
