SGF calls for Unity, Peace, Hails Benue Assembly members

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Akume has advised the Speaker, Benue State House of Assembly, Hon. Hyacinth Aondona Dajoh and all members to work in harmony for the good of the state.

Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker, the SGF gave the advise on Wednesday in Abuja When the BSHA speaker led a delegation of Assembly members from the Jemgbagh intermediate bloc to congratulate the Leader of APC in Benue State, on his recent appointment as SGF.
The Senator thanked the Jemgbagh Assembly members of the 10th Assembly for queuing behind their brother who has been elevated to lead the legislative arm of government in Benue State.
The Leader further tasked the new Speaker to carry everyone along now that God has made him a leader, adding that leadership only comes from God Almighty.
The Honourable Speaker used the visit to thank Senator Akume for his fatherly disposition and the relevant role he has played in his political life.
The visit which held at the Abuja residence of the Leader was to congratulate him on his appointment as Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) .
They delegation also intimated the SGF on the election of Hon. Dajoh as Speaker of the 10th Benue State House of Assembly, a slot that was unanimously zoned to the Jemgbagh bloc by the party.
The Speaker was accompanied on the vist by Hon. Mrs Becky Orpin of Gboko East, Hon. Abraham Jabi of Buruku and Hon. Manger Manger of Tarka while the State Chairman, APC Benue State, Comrade Austin Agada and Hon. Simon Abua Yajir were also present during the meeting.
