General Bajawo wants Tinubu to prioritise security, national unity

Abuja, June 1, 2023 (NAN) Retired Gen. Olu Bajowa, has urged President Bola Tinubu to prioritise and find solutions to insecurity, disaffection and restiveness in some parts of the country.
In a statement on Thursday, Bajowa urged the president to promote inclusiveness, healing, and enhance national cohesion with true federalism.
Bajowa said that Tinubu has the experience galvanise the citizens and guarantee the socio-economic development of the country.
He admonished the president to deploy his capacity, intelligence and courage to steer the ship of the country and bring it back to its leading role in Africa.
“The level of insecurity, restiveness, agitations and economic downturn were disturbing and that president Tinubu has the transformation ideas to turn things around.
“Nigerians have yearned for the emergence of a very strong political persona who truly understands how to navigate the complexities of our country.
“Someone who possesses the requisite experience, competence, capacity, sagacity, intelligence, courage, and commitment, with which you are endowed.
“Judging by your track records in governance, leadership and administrative acumen, I am confident in your capacity to completely overhaul the socio-political and economic spheres of our great nation, Nigeria,” he said.
