…..Says hike in price is in contravention of Sections 108 and 111 of the Nigerian Communications Act (NCA)
The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), has commenced pre-enforcement action on Starlink for price hike.
A statement signed by Reuben Muoka, Director, Public Affairs, revealed that, Starlink unilaterally decided to review its subscription packages upwards, without receiving the approval of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).
An action, which is in contravention of Sections 108 and 111 of the Nigerian Communications Act (NCA), 2003, and Starlink’s Licence Conditions regarding tariffs.
Therefore, the Conmmission has commenced pre-enforcement action on the licensee on the 3rd of October, 2024.
