….. PROMISES TO CONSOLIDATE, ESCALATE REFORMS
Didi Walson-Jack, the newly sworn-in Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HoSF), has promised to build and improve on the foundation already laid by her predecessor, Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, as encapsulated in the Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan 2021-2025 (FCSSIP-25).
A statement signed by M. A. Ahmed, Director, Communication, revealed that Didi Walson-Jack made the disclosure on her assumption of duty, where she was received by Permanent Secretaries along with Directors and Staff on Wednesday 14, 2024 in Abuja.
The HoSF thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for the appointment, and for the confidence reposed on her, stating that she will work assiduously to escalate ongoing reform initiatives in the Service and deliver on the Mandates of the Office, which is in sync with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the present Administration.
While counting on Management and staff of the Office for their support, Mrs. Walson-Jack disclosed that she intends to maximise the usage of technology in driving transformation in the Service, insisting that it is uncompromisable. She urged staff to be more proactive in their service delivery.
Earlier, the Permanent Secretary, Common Services Office, Mr. Raymond Omachi, assured the HoSF of staff commitment to duty and absolute loyalty to the system.
