NCPC MOURNS THE PASSING OF CHIEF MOSES ADEDIRAN ADEGBITE
The Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC) announces with deep sorrow the passing of Chief Moses Adediran Adegbite, father of the Executive Secretary of the Commission, Bishop Prof. Stephen Adegbite. He died on 14 November 2025 at the age of 86 after a brief illness.
Chief Adegbite, a respected community leader and devout Christian from Fiditi in Afijio Local Government Area of Oyo State, devoted his life to service, faith and community development. His legacy of integrity, generosity and steadfast commitment to humanity remains firmly etched in the hearts of those he impacted.
Bishop Prof. Stephen Adegbite, Executive Secretary of NCPC, also serves as Chaplain of the State House Aso Villa Chapel, Abuja, and Chairman of the Lagos State Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).
The Commission expresses its heartfelt condolences to Bishop Adegbite and the entire Adegbite family. We pray for God’s comfort and strength during this period of loss, and for the peaceful repose of Chief Adegbite’s soul.
