The Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation has held a 3-days Service-wide protocol training programme, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In a statement signed by Eno Olotu, Director, Information and Public Relations, it was revealed, that the aim, is to further enhance the capacity of officers engaged in protocol related duties with professional knowledge and skills required to improve their effectiveness in diverse settings.
The training programne with the theme “Professionalism in Protocol: Elevating Standards for Effective Service Delivery, was to foster understanding of international protocol, etiquette and effective cross-cultural communication, appraise and apply protocol best practices, standards and strengthen collaboration across MDAs
This initiative aligns with Pillar 1 of the Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan (FCSSIP) 2021-2025, underscoring the commitment to developing a highly skilled workforce and delivering world-class services reflective of the highest standards of professionalism.
Attendees of the training included: Protocol Officers, Information and Public Relations Officers and other support roles to VIPs across the service.
