Nigeria Will Be Great Again- Bishop Adegbite
The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has expressed optimism that Nigeria will be great again, as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu marks his first anniversary in office.
Bishop Adegbite commended President Tinubu’s commitment to democracy and selfless service to the nation, while receiving the Leader of the Northern Youth for Good Leadership and Governance, at the NCPC headquarters in Abuja on Friday.
A statement signed by Celestine Toruka, Deputy Director Media & Public Relations, disclosed that, the Bishop drew parallels between President Tinubu’s ideology, the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo and that of late Sir Ahmadu Bello of blessed memory, emphasizing their shared vision for a better Nigeria.
The NCPC boss reiterated his belief in justice, fair play, and the importance of empowering young people, having experienced the challenges of youth himself.
He thanked the Northern Youth for Good Leadership and Governance, for honoring him with a Certificate of Excellence and assured them of his continued dedication to serving humanity, and promoting the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu’s administration.
Earlier, Engr. Abdulmalik Usman, Vice Chairman of the Northern Youth for Good Leadership and Governance, praised Bishop Adegbite’s sterling qualities and good works, describing him as a “super Executive Secretary.”
He highlighted the organization’s focus on agricultural entrepreneurship, skill acquisition, and youth reorientation to address trending issues and promote informed decision-making.
