NNPC Mega Station Gboko Underway -Sen Akume

Senator George Akume,the Minister of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs has approved for the construction of an NNPC Mega station in Gboko,Benue State.
Sen Akume a one time Governor of Benue state spoke during the ground breaking ceremony for the construction of the filling station.
The APC Leader in Benue said it had become imperative for the Local Government which serves as the commercial hub of the state to have the mega station .
Sen Akume was represented by the President Ior Gboko Foundation,Dr Jimmy Ajim.
The Project was also facilitated by the Ior Gboko foundation.
Dr Ajim while inspecting the proposed NNPC Mega Station site in Gboko with some NNPC officials ,thanked the APC Leader in Benue for the support and realisation of the project.
According to Dr Ajim the project will bring retail price to the consumers and enhance availability of the products bringing the national resources closer to the people .
He said the mega station from the construction stage would create employment to the youth,addressing youth restiveness and also curbing insecurity.
He encouraged youths in Gboko with skills in the built industry and traders to key into the project as many opportunities awaits.
Dr Ajim who also spoke with the host community assured them that the reason they had voted for the APC was for the state to align with the national/presidency which in turn would attracts more development of the state.
He urged the host community to pray for the APC Leaders for God’s direction In governing the country.

NNPC Retail Limited Representative, Benue Zone in his remarks said the mega station will be built by specification of the NNPC.
He said the projects will attracts more infrastructural development and other businesses.
Iwueze advised the host community to cooperate with their team to ensure the project is delivered in time.
